This small, family owned farmhouse positioned on the outskirts of Xaghra. With all bedrooms en suite, an attractive pool area and many original features including a well in the grounds, it really retains a farmhouse feel.
On the ground floor is an open plan lounge/dining area with TV, fully fitted kitchen area with microwave, oven, 4 cooking rings, washing machine, kettle and toaster.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms all of which have ensuites. Two of the bedrooms are twin rooms, one of these has a small balcony which gives fantastic views over the stunning scenery. The third bedrooms is a double which has a whirlpool bath in the ensuite.
Outside is a delightful privately enclosed swimming pool. Surrounding the swimming pool is an enchanting sun terrace with BBQ area and pool furniture.
Xaghra is a small delightful hilltop village that typifies Gozo's restful and laid back atmosphere, with a charming central square, an attractive church as well as a pretty windmill and toy museum.
The village overlooks the the harbour resort of Marsalforn, which is very popular with Gozitans, particularly on Sundays, and with Maltese visitors in summer, who tend to spend their weekends here. It is well serviced by restaurants, shops ,& diving centres.
Many of the islands best sites are located closeby with Victoria the islands capital just 2 miles away and the prehistoric temples of Ggantija a little further away.
All international flights to Malta operate into Luqa airport. Maltese national airline Air Malta offer weekly flights from a good range of the UK regional airports. Additionally, there are several operators offering charter flights to Malta, but the island has so far stayed off limits for budget airlines (except Ryanair from Luton).
You can fly from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, East Midlands, Exete, Glasgow, London (all), Manchester and Norwich.
Helicopter flights are available between Luqa airport and Gozo (GZM).
