This attractive, two storey house has been converted to a very high standard and is a superb example of a “Summer Farmhouse”, meaning one where all the rooms are accessed from the outdoor courtyard. It retains its original mellow limestone walls, patterned tiled floors and beamed ceilings. The house is entered by a splendid, traditional hallway with vaulted ceilings. There is a very cosy living room with a wood burning stove for cooler winter evenings and patio doors to the terrace. The dining table is in the big country kitchen, which had a wood burning stove and doors to a terrace. The two bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed by external stone steps. One bedroom has a double bed, the other twin beds and both have en-suite shower rooms.
The external areas of this beautiful property are on several levels and all look down to the private 5.x5.4 metre swimming pool. Extensive sunbathing terraces are furnished with a barbecue, patio dining furniture and sun beds. This is the perfect place for days of laid back, al fresco relaxation while enjoying the atmosphere of this superb architecture and scenery.
For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service with a mid week towel change and bathroom clean.
The Villa is located in a very peaceful area of this ancient village and there are fabulous views over the surrounding countryside.
Situated in the center of Xaghra this farmhouse is within a 20 minutes walk of the nearest mini market and the pretty square in the centre of the village. There are a couple of local bars and restaurants in the square where you can enjoy a coffee and sit and people watch. Nearby sights include the Xerri’s Grotto and Ninu’s Cave and the nearest of beach of Ramla is just a 5 minute drive away.

All international flights to Malta operate into Luqa airport. Maltese national airline Air Malta offer weekly flights from a good range of the UK regional airports. Additionally, there are several operators offering charter flights to Malta, but the island has so far stayed off limits for budget airlines (except Ryanair from Luton).
You can fly from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, East Midlands, Exete, Glasgow, London (all), Manchester and Norwich.
Helicopter flights are available between Luqa airport and Gozo (GZM).
