Ta' Filomena Is a 300 year old farmhouse full of character, which has been elegentaly refurbished to the very highest standards. This beautiful property is elegantly furnished and offers a large living and dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, one of which also has Jacuzzi.
Beuatiful stone arches can be admired in many rooms and wooden beams in others.
Outside a large covered terrace overlooks the substantially sized swimming pool. The pool area has a delightful sun terrace and barbeque and is incredibly spacious.
Xaghra is a small delightful hilltop village that typifies Gozo's restful and laid back atmosphere, with a charming central square, an attractive church as well as a pretty windmill and toy museum.
The village overlooks the the harbour resort of Marsalforn, which is very popular with Gozitans, particularly on Sundays, and with Maltese visitors in summer, who tend to spend their weekends here. It is well serviced by restaurants, shops ,& diving centres.
Many of the islands best sites are located closeby with Victoria the islands capital just 2 miles away and the prehistoric temples of Ggantija a little further away
All international flights to Malta operate into Luqa airport. Maltese national airline Air Malta offer weekly flights from a good range of the UK regional airports. Additionally, there are several operators offering charter flights to Malta, but the island has so far stayed off limits for budget airlines (except Ryanair from Luton).
You can fly from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, East Midlands, Exete, Glasgow, London (all), Manchester and Norwich.
Helicopter flights are available between Luqa airport and Gozo (GZM).
