It is a traditional Gozitan “Summer Farmhouse” and as such all the rooms lead from the courtyard, giving it an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.
The lovely, original limestone walls of this semi-detached farmhouse are very deep and ensure that the villa remains comfortably cool in the hot summer months. The authentic architecture provides the location for a memorable holiday on this special island. The living area is on the lower level with its separate entrance. The comfortable living has an archway to the kitchen and dining room, all of which have wonderful vaulted arches and are decorated with local artefacts. The house has three bedrooms. On the lower level there is a bedroom with twin beds which has access to a shower room, across a small courtyard. On the first floor there are two bedrooms accessed from a courtyard, one has a double bed, the other twin beds and they share a shower room.
The house is entered by a gate leading into an architecturally grand and gorgeous courtyard. It has terraces on several levels, accessed by wide stone stairs, from where there are panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and villages. The swimming pool area is accessed through a gated archway and is walled for extra privacy. It measures 7x4.5 metres and is surrounded by an extensive sun terrace with patio dining furniture, a barbecue and sun beds.
For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service with a mid week towel change and bathroom clean.
The farmhouse is located within a 10 minute walk of the local restaurants and the nearest mini market in Sannat. A short drive takes you to the popular resort of Xlendi Bay with a good selection of shops and restaurants and also the nearest cove for bathing.
All international flights to Malta operate into Luqa airport. Maltese national airline Air Malta offer weekly flights from a good range of the UK regional airports. Additionally, there are several operators offering charter flights to Malta, but the island has so far stayed off limits for budget airlines.
You can fly from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, East Midlands, Exete, Glasgow, London (all), Manchester and Norwich.
Helicopter flights are available between Luqa airport and Gozo (GZM).
