Tal Maima is situated within the traditional village of Gharb, just a few minutes walk from the central picturesque square with a couple of local bars and a supermarket.
This delightful, two storey property has retained much of its original Gozitan features with mellow lime stone walls and typical vaulted ceilings. The farmhouse has a beautiful, spacious living room with an open fireplace, dining area and an archway leading to the kitchen and dining area. A spiral wooden staircase leads to the first floor. French doors lead from the living room and kitchen to the pool area. The house has four attractive bedrooms, two bedrooms with double beds and two bedrooms with twin beds. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor. A double room and a twin room share a family bathroom and there is a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
French doors lead from the living room to a spacious terrace surrounding the 7.5 x 3.7 metre swimming pool accessed by integral steps. The terrace is furnished with sun beds, patio dining furniture and a barbecue, making it an ideal place for enjoying hours of al fresco relaxation.
For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service with a mid week towel change and bathroom clean.
Tal Maima is situated in a quiet alley, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Gharb. A picture postcard square lies at the heart of Gharb with a pharmacy, bakery and a restaurant. A local supermarket and several farmhouse style restaurants are all within walking distance. Tal Maima is conveniently situated approximately 3 kilometres from the capital of Victoria and the same to the nearest beach at Marsalforn.
All international flights to Malta operate into Luqa airport. Maltese national airline Air Malta offer weekly flights from a good range of the UK regional airports. Additionally, there are several operators offering charter flights to Malta, but the island has so far stayed off limits for budget airlines (except Ryanair from Luton).
You can fly from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, East Midlands, Exete, Glasgow, London (all), Manchester and Norwich.
Helicopter flights are available between Luqa airport and Gozo (GZM).
